Do you want to clean your windows using your own window cleaner? There are some homemade window cleaner recipes that you can easily do at home. The best part is that they can be done with ingredients that are readily available at home. This makes your window cleaner very cheap and easy to do. Here are some of the recipes.

Alcohol and Ammonia Recipe

The first recipe will make use of alcohol and ammonia as your cleaning agent. It will require 2 cups of 70% isopropyl alcohol and ½ cup of ammonia. You then have to mix these with 1 tsp of detergent along with water. You have to mix all these ingredients in a pail and get them to a gallon. You can now use these to wash your windows.

The secret of this recipe is in the alcohol and the ammonia. This does not only remove dirt on the surface, it also removes bacteria that have settled on your window. Note that you have to move pets and children away because this recipe has ammonia.

Vinegar Recipe

The second recipe is actually a homemade window cleaner with vinegar. This is vinegar. Vinegar is one of the mildest acids that you can use for cleaning. Its effectiveness is doubled if you mix it with detergent. For this recipe, you need to mix 2 cups of water along with 3 tablespoons of vinegar and ½ teaspoon of dish detergent. It makes a very small amount so be sure to multiply the recipe based on the number of windows you have to wash. If you need a gallon of this recipe, you just need to mix a gallon of water with ¼ cup of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of detergent.

Lemon Juice Recipe

If you have lemon in your local store, then you can boost the effectiveness of the vinegar recipe if you add lemon juice to the mixture. All you need to do is decrease the amount of the detergent and increase the amount of the lemon juice. For a gallon of water, add in ¼ cup of vinegar along with 2 tablespoons of lemon and a squirt of detergent. This will add
a good citrus scent to your windows.

Vinegar Recipe 2

Here is a simpler version of the vinegar recipe. All it needs is a little bit of white vinegar and a gallon of warm water. Vinegar is a good cleaning agent. It has been used to remove stains and clean grouts. You can create a good homemade window cleaner by simply adding a cup of vinegar to a gallon of warm water. In my opinion, this is the simplest
recipe out of the rest.

These are just some recipes that can help you clean your windows. It is best to put them in a spray bottle so you can easily clean any type of window with ease. As you can see, they made use of ingredients that you can easily pick up from your cupboard. So do not wait. Make your own homemade window cleaner right now and get sparkling windows.
